With more than 27 years of experience, Daniel has specialized in supporting teenagers and their families as a therapist, clinical leader, and advisor. He established and leads Oakwood Family Treatment Centers, focusing on youth care and its Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Additionally, he maintains a private practice in Pasadena, addressing issues such as anxiety, trauma, family disputes, substance abuse, behavioral dependencies, codependency, depression, ADHD, self-injury, and confidence challenges. Daniel emphasizes a mindful approach, incorporating mind-body integration with a focus on healing through empathy, genuineness, and acceptance. In his free time, he values family moments, outdoor activities like surfing, hiking, camping, yoga, and swimming, and he is a dedicated supporter of the LA Kings.

The Vision of Our Founder

I created Oakwood Family Treatment Centers to offer parents and their adolescents a wide range of clinical support customized to each family's requirements. The demand for family assistance and advice is greater than ever before. Through my work with numerous families, I have observed that caregivers often lack the necessary resources and understanding to handle their teen's difficulties, leading to uncertainty in their choices. Frequently, parents feel alone and overburdened when dealing with their child's specific issues. At Oakwood, we understand the essential needs of families and provide the expert resources to achieve positive results for our clients. We view families as intricate networks with various components, offering comprehensive aid to foster beneficial changes for both the teen and the entire family unit.
