Program Details

A vast majority of clients who received treatment noted a substantial reduction in substance use. Alumni of the Turn About program have pursued careers as psychologists, social workers, nurses, including one physician, military officers, artists, entrepreneurs, and engineers. Several of these graduates were the first in their families to complete high school, while others have built upon their parents' successes. Our continuing objectives include intervening earlier with more effective strategies and ongoing support to avoid severe outcomes from prolonged issues. Turn About is an agency accredited by CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitative Facilities) and licensed by Florida's Department of Children and Families. This accreditation covers all offerings: Outpatient services for integrated mental health and substance use; Intensive Outpatient for integrated mental health and substance use; and Prevention/Diversion programs for children and adults. Accreditation confirms that Turn About maintains high standards of practice excellence and utilizes evidence-based, contemporary approaches for our clients.
