Academics with National Accreditation

At Newport Academy, education in academic and life skills forms a vital part of the recovery journey. Our certified and experienced educators collaborate with students, families, and their schools to design a tailored learning plan based on psychoeducational evaluations, existing academic records, and regional educational standards. Individuals earn course credits and build their study habits and enthusiasm, often for the first time, while benefiting from holistic treatment to promote healing. Our strengths-oriented educational method acknowledges that learning is deeply connected to a young person's self-worth, overall health, and personal empowerment. As young people advance in their therapy, we observe enhancements in their academic participation and drive, alongside improvements in their mental health. Our aim is to prepare our clients for success upon re-entering their home schools, equipping them with essential tools to thrive in educational settings.

In-Network Insurance Services

Insurance may cover the full cost of the treatments and therapeutic approaches available at Newport Academy. We work with all primary insurance providers and partner closely with them to enhance coverage options for families. Many young people who undergo treatment at Newport Academy through insurance do so via a Single Case Agreement, a specialized arrangement that enables out-of-network providers to function as in-network. We maintain a dedicated full-time team to assist families throughout the mental health insurance and payment processes. To achieve optimal coverage, we might need to complete various clinical assessments and any required physician discussions with the insurer. While other centers might impose fees for this support, we view it as our obligation to guide families through this potentially challenging procedure. Our priority is to help families obtain the greatest possible benefits, allowing access to premium-quality care.
