Our Offerings and Locations

Nestled in the picturesque mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania, offering stunning vistas of the Wyoming Valley, clients at Clearbrook can embark on their healing journey in a peaceful and tranquil setting. Founded in 1972, Clearbrook built modern facilities in 2010, including a new 22-bed standalone sub-acute detox facility, dining area, kitchen, administrative offices, counselor workspaces, and housing for patients. Our treatment is split into two main elements: detox and residential rehabilitation. The detox section is covered by healthcare providers around the clock, ensuring all medical requirements are met continuously. After completing detox, participants engage in our therapeutic sessions, such as group discussions, informative sessions, and education on preventing relapse. Additionally, each person is paired with a dedicated counselor to oversee their progress, handle any issues, and collaborate with family members. We consider family education and support as vital as individual therapy for those affected by addiction, so we offer a Family Education Program on three weekends monthly to explore the impact of substance misuse on family dynamics.

Our Care Methodology

Our care strategy follows the Minnesota Model, also called the abstinence-based approach. Combined with various therapies like one-on-one sessions, group work, and relapse avoidance techniques, Clearbrook incorporates the 12-step guidelines from Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. In a well-structured and motivating atmosphere, adults of all genders can start their recovery from substance misuse. We acknowledge that every client is unique with distinct requirements. Individuals enter treatment at different points in their addiction, so what matters to one may not apply to another. Therefore, we develop personalized treatment objectives and plans tailored to address specific situations and needs. From addressing legal matters to improving living conditions, our team helps find positive resolutions. Throughout the treatment period, our clinical staff will partner with the client and external supports to create a discharge plan that suits them best. Post-treatment choices might include outpatient services, prolonged care, or sober housing environments. It is our commitment to maximize each person's opportunities for successful, lasting recovery from substance abuse.
