We address an extensive variety of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, substance dependency, sexual health in the context of recovery, psychiatric drug management, trauma, domestic violence, dealing with medical conditions, and more. Our main emphasis is on serving members of the LGBTQ+ community, yet we are open to everyone. Numerous clients have faced bias and exclusion from other healthcare professionals. We assist: u2022 individuals in gaining deeper self-understanding and addressing ongoing feelings of depression or anxiety about their identity; u2022 those with HIV in enhancing their overall well-being and psychological state while actively engaging in medical care; u2022 individuals whose substance use and sexual behaviors are linked, seeking to explore safer ways to engage in intimacy during recovery; u2022 people who have endured forms of violence such as domestic abuse, sexual assault, trafficking, hate crimes, or victimization, by aiding them in processing their trauma and providing housing support as needed; u2022 older adults dealing with life stage transitions; u2022 young people exploring their gender identity; and u2022 military veterans through affordable or free counseling via state grants.

How We Assist Our Clients:

We deliver care that is sensitive to trauma and utilizes proven methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in an inclusive setting that respects and values each client's background. We make certain that services are tailored to respect clients' sexual orientation, gender expression, racial and ethnic heritage, and other personal traits. Our team of skilled psychologists, social workers, and counselors brings extensive expertise in managing depression, anxiety, trauma, and related conditions. Our trauma experts are proficient in techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy, and similar approaches. We provide couples therapy through methods like the Gottman approach or Emotionally Focused Therapy. We maintain a comprehensive program for substance use disorders, featuring an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), Relapse Prevention Groups, and peer coaching for recovery. Additionally, we have introduced a program focused on sexual health in recovery, covering topics like setting boundaries, understanding consent, body positivity, and harmonizing enjoyment with safety.
